FLY FISHING FOR INLAND STRIPERS

Spring is in the air, and for many that means chasing linesides in Ozark impoundments and their tributaries. Stripers, wipers and white bass offer spectacular action in our region.

White are prolific and easy to catch, hybrids a little tougher but top of the hill is big striped bass. If you want to lift your game, pick up a copy of Henry Cowen’s Fly Fishing for Freshwater Striped Bass online or in the fly shop.

Henry is a fly fishing striper guide on Lake Lanier in Georgia but his passion has take him to fisheries across the country including Arkansas.

“In this practical guide, author Henry Cowen shares decades of hard-earned knowledge of stripers for the first time. Learn about the species, its food, and where and how to find them, so you can land more and bigger fish.”
