Now this is a film I’m looking forward to broadcast on the big screen of the Rainbow Bridge over the White River on May 27 for the F3T Under The Bridge Festival.
I got to meet and hang with the focus of the film California guide Seth Blackamore last Spring in Montana and found him solid passionate enthusiastic, like the characters I fish with here, and with that hunger to fish round the next bend, over the hills, or across that strip of water to see what is there.
Follow Seth Blackamore as he takes a few new friends high into the Eastern Sierra Nevada in search of Golden Trout. Blackamore has been exploring these mountains and lakes for almost a decade and this adventure proved to be the wildest one yet. With help from a local pack outfit, Blackamore loads the crew up on mules to journey up to 12,000 feet to set up a basecamp for the late-summer adventure.

The F3T Under The Bridge Festival is an evening for the fly fishing and broader White River community festival to come together.
An epic evening in an epic location on the banks of the White River in Cotter. The natural river bank under the historic Cotter Bridge forms an epic amphitheater to host the event.
The Festival opens around 6pm with food trucks, local craft brews and local music. The film presentation of short fly fishing films, will start around 8pm, using the eastern most abutment of the historic Rainbow Bridge as the screen.

Oh and these are the real Golden Trout (Oncorhynchus aguabonita) not those bananacolored rainbows that fall off the stocking truck here. Enjoy
