ANDREAS ANDERSSON HEADED TO LOVEFEST

SWEDISH streamer tying icon Andreas Andersson will fly in to Cotter for the tenth Anniversary Streamer Lovefest on January 28 next year.

This will be Andersson’s long awaited first visit to the world’s best streamer tying party, joining a host of streamer tying masters at Dally’s Ozark Fly Fisher for another epic evening celebrating big flies, big rods and big brown trout.

Andreas will also conduct a streamer tying class for a limited number of tyers on Saturday morning (details below)

He will will join the Godfather of modern streamer fishing, Kelly Galloup, the ever popular Mike Schmidt, our own streamer addicts and fly designers Chad Johnson, Steve Dally and Alex Lafkas, plus streamer video guru Brian Wise at the Lovefest proper on Saturday night. We also have some surprise guests to be unveiled over the next couple of weeks.

The Lovefest started as an afterthought almost, in 2013 but it evolved into a right of passage for series streamer tyers, with national and international icons like Kelly Galloup, Blane Chocklett, Russ Maddin, Mike Schmidt and Rich Strolis, our own streamer addicts and fly designers Chad Johnson, Steve Dally and Alex Lafkas, plus streamer video guru Brian Wise.

Devotees have flown and driven for hours in order to attend the Lovefest over the last decade: Canadians, fly fishers from Maine, Montana, Colorado Texas, and the East Coast, came in for a night with the icons of their passion and a chance to fish the legendary White River.

Great food, some serious schwag and the change to win flies tied on the night complemented the party

Andersson carved out a global reputation via social media: His flies, techniques, color combos and some of the cleanest tying anywhere leaps out of photos and videos. Flies like the Unholy Diver, the Aino, Rag Dolly and more have become classic among big streamer fishers

Cost for the Andersson class is $100 a head These classes have traditionally been over subscribed so we require full payment up front. In the event of an emergency, we will endeavor to sell your spot to another class member. In the event we resell and fill your spot, you will get a full refund.

Tyers will need to bring some basic tools like vise, scissors(preferably 1 big one small) and (at least) 2 bobbins. Superglue and your favorite streamer thread would be great. Materials and hooks will be included. Call 870 435 6166 to book your spot
