Not Farewell, Just See You Soon

The Fore family: Lorelei almost 2; Mekenzie, Tadd and Falyn 4.

IT has come way too soon, but today is Tadd Fore’s last at the fly shop, leaving for a new role running the White Buffalo Resort.

The move will allow Tadd to spend more time with his delightful, young and expanding family living and working onsite. It was something we couldn’t replicate and understand totally, and wish them well.

Tadd made a big contribution to the fly shop and our far flung fly fishing family, as many have remarked, over the past 2 years. Perhaps one of the best might have been training up his replacement Morgan Guss.

Like Tadd, Morgan joined us after moving from the fly fishing heartland in Colorado, guiding out of Steamboat Springs for five years. Morgan, and his fiancee Ginny, had made a home and become part of the local crew. Customers appreciate his relaxed but enthusiastic style, and knowledge from days guiding on the White.

Morgan will of course be getting supported by the old hands, Steve Dally and Chad Johnson, who while less on the fly shop floor, bring a combined 3 decades of White River fly fishing and fly shop experience, and of course under the watchful guidance of owner Jim Dugan
