WHITLOCK AND WOTTON inducted to HALL OF FAME

WHITE RIVER icons Dave Whitlock and Davy Wotton will, officially be inducted into the the Fly Fishing Museum of the Southern Appalachians’ Hall of Fame this weekend.

The internationally renowned legends and great friends are heading to Bryson City, North Carolina for this weekend’s ceremonies after last year’s induction ceremony was postponed due to the pandemic. Dave’s induction has had to be rescheduled twice, but this weekend the pair get to celebrate together.

DAVE WHITLOCK: Inducted for his many contributions to fly fishing as a conservationist, innovator, fly fisher, fly tier, writer and artist.

The FFMSA is a non-profit, private and independently-owned museum is located in Bryson City, NC. The FFMSA provides a center for learning both the history of fly fishing as well as the arts, the sciences, the crafts and the skills of fly fishing. The purpose of the museum is to capture and preserve the history of fly fishing in the region.
