f3t: UndeR the bridge to aid fishing access

BUY a ticket to the F3T: Under The Bridge Festival at Cotter next weekend and you will be helping improve riverside fishing access in Cotter.

Organizers of the event will be donating all funds raised towards the completion of the Roundhouse Shoals riverfront redevelopment for anglers and other river users.

F3T Under the Bridge promises an epic evening Fly Fishing Festival on the banks of the White River, with 12 fly fishing films, screened on the Rainbow Bridge, and vendors including Norfork Brewing Company, Ol’ Tex BBQ, Paradice Icecream, Momentum Coffee, Shawnee Supreme and Double XX boat companies, plus Trout Unlimited #698 and local fly fishing vendors.

Tickets $15 a head are available online here Or you can buy tickets locally at Dally’s Ozark Fly Fisher, Duane Hada’s Rivertown Gallery, Ozark Mountain Trading Company, Wishes and Fishes and Natural State Fly Shop.

Guests are encourage to bring chairs or blankets to watch on the natural amphitheater under the bridge itself. Gates open at 7.30pm with the Show expected to start around 8.45 pm or dark

Ticket entry will automatically enter you into the drawing for some great prizes including a one day fly fishing guide trip with Steve Dally and accommodation for one night for two people with Potter Block Vacation Rentals or a Duane Hada print.

A collaborative effort of the Northern Arkansas Fly Fishers, the White River Chapter of Trout Unlimited, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the City of Cotter, the Roundhouse Shoal project is transforming a former river front eyesore into a source of pride for area residents and a welcoming beacon for visitors.
