OUR friends at Temple Fork Outfitters in Dallas have generously pledged a pair of fly rods from the TFO range for the All Species Odyssey prize pool, which now stands over $4800
Two person teams will spend June 19 and 20 chasing as many Ozark fly rod species as they can manage: the most species caught, released and documented will win, Size doesn’t matter.
The second place team members will each win a TFO Rod of Choice certificate entitling them to a TFO fly rod of choice, with a total value of up to $600
Download the your entry forms from our link below and get them to us with your entry fee by June 4 for early entry. Don’t hang about, we have been asked for entry forms all winter and we expect to hit our 25-team limit this year. First come first served.
The team fee of $150 remains the same and each competitor will get an event cap, shirt and a killer gift bag. There will also be a strong array of individual prize drawings for all entrants.
The Odyssey is all about the entertainment and opening up the tremendous range of fun fly rod targets in Arkansas waters. Our target species list of 33 species can be found here.
Entrants must fish together as pairs, for minimal harm during the catch, photograph and release of each submitted capture. Each fish must be photographed with a special item and submitted via our official Odyssey app. A fisheries biologist just will authenticate the species identification before the submission is score.
Only in the event of a tie will the points list be used to separate a tie. If you want more details on any of these fishes the AGFC publication “Arkansas Fish” can be found by clicking the link.
Competitors can fish any legal Arkansas water during the event, but have to be back at Dally’s Ozark Fly Fisher by midday Sunday.
