TU Veteran’s Partnership Visit

Bob Salerno from CT enjoyed his visit to the White River. Steve Dally image

THE MISSION: to help, 24 fly fishing lunatics, combine a little early fishing time before their 4 day training session for the Trout Unlimited Veteran’s Partnership.

Early starts were the daily norm and get them to the training sessions on time. This week we received a great note of thanks from Veteran’s Partnership National Co-ordinator Dave Kumlien.

To Dave and all the volunteers, It was our pleasure.\

Dear Ozark Fly Fisher,

On behalf of the Trout Unlimited Veterans Partnership (TU VSP), myself, and my 24 friends who participated in the recent 4 day volunteer training session on the White River, I wish to thank the entire Staff and the Guides at Ozark Fly Fisher for helping us all enjoy the special fishing on the White River.

Steve Dally and the Ozark Fly Fisher provided some great help and advice in planning the fishing opportunities around our event, the shop staff provided some excellent fly shop advice, and quality flies and fly tackle, and the Ozark Fly Fisher guides helped us all enjoy the White River fishing.

The White is NOT an easy river to figure out, and the success we enjoyed catching the Browns, Cutts, Rainbows, and Brookies of the White and Norfork and the Smallmouth Bass in Crooked Creek was the direct result of the great work of The Ozark Fly Fisher!

Thank you,

Dave
