Help Fund Youth Outdoor Experiences

CTO’s Buffalo River Chapter is leading local youth into outdoor pursuits

Youth hunting and fishing organisation Cross Trail Outfitters’ local branch is holding a fundraising evening on September 12 in Mountain Home.

CTO’s Buffalo River Arkansas chapter has been spearheaded by local artist and guide Duane Hada, gives local youth, who might otherwise never experience the outdoors, quality hunting, fishing and camping experiences.

The Buffalo River Chapter shares Duane’s passion for fly fishing and fly tying and takes advantage of our local waters and tying events regularly. Many of the youth have participated in building their own fly rods and readily tie flies that they successfully fool fish with themselves.

On September 12, 2019, the organization will be having a CTO fundraising event at the Hope Center at Twin Lakes Baptist Church located at 2645 Highway 62 West in Mountain Home, Arkansas. There will be plenty of outdoor gear, quality trips by top fly fishing guides, and specialty hand-tied fly patterns for raffle, door prizes, and auction.

Check out the Buffalo River Arkansas CTO Chapter Facebook page to see some of the available items. Tickets are $25 per person and $250 for a sponsored table of 8 people. A sponsored table comes with gifts and bonus tickets for the raffles. Doors open at 5.30pm with the event running from 6pm to 8pm.

Cross Trail Outfitters (CTO) is a national youth hunting and fishing organization headquartered in North Carolina. The Buffalo River Arkansas Chapter, is currently the only chapter based in Arkansas.
