THE Devastation wrought on the Bahamas by Hurricane Dorian is a humanitarian crisis by any terms, but in the small fly fishing community it comes closer to home.

The Bahamas, the chain of islands off Florida’s East Coast, figures large in so many fly fishers lives, as their first saltwater adventure, a dream destination or knowing someone who visits, or moved there.
