Andersson & Maddin: One Night Only

Russ and Andreas in Michigan last year

UNDER the big top at Dally’s, for one night only, two of Streamer Fly Tying’s icons Andreas Andersson and Russ Maddin, Live and Uncut, on the evening of February 8.

We are truly stoked to wrangle these two fishy cats to ground for an evening of high entertainment and an insight into the minds of two of fly tying’s leading innovators.

The Class will start at 6pm sharp, and will be limited to 8 only, $75 per person.

Russ will likely be covering his modernized Circus Peanut and Flash Monkeys. Andreas will be tying deer hair and possibly reverse heads.

This class is an advanced skills streamer class: materials provided, Russ and Andreas will guide you how to tie their patterns. Bring your own vise light, tools and thread. We will be supplying pizza

Andreas Andersson is a Swedish professional fly tyer who has carved out a global reputation via social media. His flies, techniques color combos and some of the cleanest tying anywhere leaps out of photos. He is also a father, salesman and insomniac, which explains how he manages all 3 careers at a high level. He is also a pretty fun cat to spend a day on the river with

Russ Maddin is truly one of the O.G modern streamer designers, and something of a child prodigy started working in fly shops in Michigan at age 13.  He is best known for the Circus Peanut, a fly developed after he started working for Kelly Galloup at age 19. Galloup often says the Circus Peanut is the fly he wishes he had designed. Maddin is one of those guys who lets his fishing and tying speak volumes, but equally his classes have been incredibly well received. Spend some time with Russ
