Buffalo Shoal in all it’s glory _ all images this post by  Jared Zissu flylords.com

When you are immersed in and on something like we are with our twin Tailwaters, sometimes its just a fresh eye, a new angle to break through the familiarity and make you fall in love all over again.

Saturday the stars aligned and I was open to take out a trio of F3T roadies plus travelling artist and minstrel Paul Puckett. Puckett I’ve known casually for a few years and had been trying to get him in my boat, and pluck a guitar string. It was 17 years since he last fished here.

Brad fished in the backseat in the am, but after lunch Jared Zissu jumped in needing some shots to document the outing for F3T and his own Flylords website. The fishing was good enough that it was hard to find time to shoot, and Paul was hooking fish after fish. But Jared sent up a drone for 15 mins and the images were mindblowing, on top of his regular camera work.

The White is in incredible shape right now, so enjoy Jared’s images here and hopefully it will inspire you to head here and tie on a caddis.
