Smallie Class II _ 2012

Penny Pabst with a fine smallie during the class

OUR second Smallmouth Class of the season, led by Ben Levin and Duane Hada, was another huge hit and they ended up with a bunch of fine smallies.

Our class format is proving extremely popular and Chad is looking at scheduling more classes over the coming months. But I’ll let Ben tell y’all about the class itself

Our second smallmouth bass fly fishing clinic of 2012 was a big success with some great guests from both in state and out taking advantage of the cooler, cloudy weather. Our morning session in the shop was followed by a great afternoon of wade fishing on Crooked Creek. Everyone got to learn the basics behind some of the techniques Duane and I have been using for years to catch our beautiful but wary native smallies. Lots of great fish were landed by all, along with several species of panfish.
Thanks a bunch to Marc and Chad for helping Duane and I make this class a great one!
