Streamer Class II _ Come Throw Some Meat

Robert Morrison with a brown from last year's streamer class

IF you have been reading out posts on streamer fishing, and want to know more about bashing the banks with big hunts of meat in search of some quality White River brown trout, sign up for our second annual MRFS Streamer Class.

The class will be held at the Fly Shop in Cotter on January 22. Michigan streamer guide Alex Lafkas will lead the class through the essential gear, streamer principles and streamer fly tying during the morning classroom session.

After lunch class attendees will be split into pairs, each pair heading out on the White for some practical lesson’s with Alex and other members of our guide team. Cost will be $200, which includes lunch _ rods and sinking lines (#6-#8) will be provided by our guides for those that don’t have their own gear. This is an advanced class so a reasonable casting competency is assumed.  There are no refunds inside the last 14 days before the class for cancellations, due to the need to book 4-5 guides.

Refunds will be paid in the event we do not reach the minimum of 6 persons required. Last year’s class was oversubscribed so get in early.  If sufficient people want to do a second class we will try to schedule a second class.

Any questions don’t hesitate to call the shop on 870 435 6166.
