DNA HOLO FUSION

AS is often the case with fly tying materials samples the Journal’s pack of DNA Holo Fusion from Hareline Dubbin, lay around my tying desk for some months, till I figured a need for the color material provided.

As it turned out the tan HF looked pretty good for tying up some version’s of Hada’s Creek Minnow and some Jiggies I had in mind for the creeks.

Holo Fusion is a nice combination of subtle flash and body materials with a sweet translucence, and long enough for some serious baitfish patterns. It can be used on its own or tied in combination with other materials, like the craft fur bellies we were using.

This would be a nice basis for a lot of different baitfish patterns, including shad kill flies.
