Felt Sole Ban Moving Closer

THE MISSOURI Department of Conservation is moving closer to banning felt sole boots in public waters according to a report this week in the Columbia Missourian, largely due to the presence of didymo in the White River tailwaters.

John McLaughlin reported that MDC invasive species staff were drawing up proposed regulations to ban felt soled boots on public waters. We stumbled across the article on Midcurrent.com which is sure to draw attention within the AGFC as well.
