Well mate it was pretty sensational.
I probably wouldn’t have dragged myself out of bed early either, but I’d promised my Jamaican mate Oswald some water time. Oz is one of the happiest characters I know, and is seriously committed to the fly rod, plus he’s pefectly happy dealing with Madison’s exuberance.
Sowbugs and midges were picking up fish early then as the water fell the surface bite opened up and we both switched over to dries and not even bothering with droppers. And its not just as the Dam we are hearing good reports on dries up and down the river.
