Another convert is born

What a trip last weekend for first time fly fisher Rachael from Nashville. Not only her first fish but also this tremendous 20″ rainbow from Bull Shoals. She and her husband were out with guide Marc Poulos and had a great afternoon at Bull Shoals. Sounds like a new convert.

Fishing Report _ 5-28-10 Low Water and the Bugs Are Popping

THERE is just something about mayflies that floats my boat. The sturdy tanklike proportions of the nymphs, the graceful flotillas of duns and the dancing ephemeral flight of the spinners.
