If you haven’t struck a blizzard caddis hatch on the White this video will give you a pretty good idea of what is going on. The film is actually from the South Fork of the Snake but we hit similar conditions at Rim last year and we heard of hatches this big last week on the White.
Lower flows and some warmer weather after this weekend should reignite the hatch.
